Why do most successful people enjoy reading biographies?

First, they inspire.

Second, we like to learn the leadership lessons from their story so we can apply them to our life and business.

And that’s what Orrin Woodward and I did. But instead of a written biography, we sat down and interviewed Wes Linden so we could pull “20 Leadership Lessons” from Wes’ journey to $100 million in yearly sales.

Today we’re releasing the entire interview so you too can learn the same lessons we learned. We put it in an audio format that works across all devices, and it’s all free. Share it with your team.

Listen to our full interview with Wes Linden here.

During a break at the 3-day Billion Dollar Retreat (none of which was recorded),I sat down and recorded an interview with Wes Linden. We were joined by Orrin Woodward who pulled leadership lessons from Wes’ journey. This interview is the first episode in the Mastermind Event® Leadership Series.

Here are just few of the leadership lessons covered in the interview:

A reasonable “Time Frame” for Success in Network Marketing.
Quit to What?
Distinguishing GOOD Leadership from BAD Leadership in Network Marketing.
• Why it’s not just about “building a Network Marketing team.”
• One of the top lessons Wes’ sponsor taught him.
• The power of “re-framing.”

And…

• What if you’ve never had a good leadership example?
• Learn how to help your team develop a long-term mindset.
• What’s a “Mature Time Frame for Success?”
• Dream vs Dread.
• The Power of Observation.
• Community versus Culture.

And…

• Why treating everybody exactly the same doesn’t work.
• Your message is more believable if you model it.
• Cognitive Dissonance:
• “The looking zone.”
• The most relevant question to ask about your Plan B.

Plus, insights on how to lead what you’ve built, some of the best ways to lead your team and instilling a “Your journey is your journey” philosophy. Also, sometimes people want to quit Network Marketing, but a simple shift in thinking can refocus them back on their business. What is that shift? Learn all this and more in this leadership series interview.

SHARE this audio with your team to help them build a more stable business.

Build it once. Build it BIG. Build it to last a lifetime of FREEDOM!

Conversations with Network Marketing Masterminds: Wes Linden | Contests
A Mastermind Event Original Series.

Wes Linden has helped build a Network Marketing organization that does over $100 million a year in sales. He is also a presenter at the Network Marketing Mastermind Event.

I caught up with him in Estepona, Spain for a few days of masterminding, food and fun. In this video I ask him how he runs contests to generate volume and retention on his team.

We discuss high-level contests as well as contests that allow everyone on your team to participate. We cover the “bonfire effect” as well as the importance of creating a culture that allows for “magical moments.”

  1. Flexibility on time+helping others to better lifestyle by saving and making money. As Jim Rohn says Helping many others to achieve to get what they want leads to Greatness. If you can only see 50feet in Fog then walk 50 feet then you can see further 50 feet. So keeping up the good work.x

  2. I love the health empowerment that is specific to my business, and the networking aspect is thrilling bc I get to help my friends grow their income and life empowerment–I am watching them blossom and thrive like never before and I am in awe and it is inspiring! I LOVE IT!! FREEEEEDOM!!

  3. The one thing I love about network marketing is becoming the person you know exists within, and through the journey of becoming a successful networker you develop the ability to help and educate more people like me…A beginner growing through the ranks.

  4. What I love about Network Marketing is finding new friends, working towards goals that I never ever thought possible, making my own hours and being with my kids when I need to!!!

  5. I love it all! Especially the freedom. I have more friends then I have ever had in my life because of my team and MLM, I love the company I work for and the products! Travel is a plus and the ability to make as much money as I want dependant upon how hard I work my business…it is all in my hands!

  6. I like the fact that you can Full time on your job while you work Part time on your fortune. Then one day you go into work and tell the boss you can no longer find time in your life for your Full time Job!

  7. What I love most about Network Marketing is that I am able to incorporate the aspects of both sides of my Passion into one “job” that never feels like work. (I actually feel a bit guilty about that from time to time). Time with my family, time with my friends, AND helping to show others the joy of earning an income while helping others and making a difference. WOW.

  8. The one thing I love about Network Marketing is the ability to make an unlimited income if you choose to.

  1. I don’t even know the way I ended up here, but I believed this video was great! I do not know who you and Orrin are, but certainly you are going to a well-known blogger if you happen to not already be one. Great content… truly! Can’t wait to apply it to my USANA business! Cheers!

  2. Drama! Wow… wish more leaders would address this topic. This is REAL. I’ve built good sized teams only to have them crumble because we didn’t know how to handle the natural “issues” that come up when working with people. Thank you Art and Orrin for putting this great info out to all of us… and FREE! I am implementing this into my ACN business ASAP, and will be visiting this blog often!

  3. I simply want to say I’m newbie to blogs and certainly enjoyed this blog. I’m bookmarking your blog! You surely have very good stories. Thank you for sharing with us!

    • Awesome story. You guys are great leaders. I can’t wait to see you guys out there in a couple of weeks. You two demonstrate true servant-leadership by flying to all these different cities, wanting to help your fellow networkers. Ashlyn and I love hearing you guys teach and are inspired by your story to go write our own. Fight The Good Fight! Never Back Down! God Bless, Kyle Combes

  1. Wow, awesome blog Art! I had not idea you had a blog! How long have you been blogging for? Figured once you did, you’d make blogging look easy. LOL The overall look is magnificent, as well as the content! Thank you :) / Wilma <3

  2. I just want to say I’m beginner to network marketing and also blogging and really love your blog. You really share relevant beneficial, well written articles and videos. Kudos Art!

  3. This is the great lessons that I like in this video.Make other misatkes and don`t hung up on the same misatkes. Every great entrepreneur made a lot of misatkes and that made them great.I like the 4 step process. 1.information 2.Progress 3.Profit and PURPOSE. We BUILD IT BECAUSE THAT IS OUR PURPOSE. I believe every entrepreneur should have this but before we can have it we must also get the other 3 steps.Focus on leadership because you cannot go beyond your capacity.Hunger is the beginning of CHANGE. We must also apply what we have learned.Love being out of your comfort zone. The moment you take action the Goliath becomes smaller. If you have a thousand you are contributing to thousands. This is a great leadership advice. I DON`T WANT TO BE A LEADER TO A BUNCH OF FOLLOWERS, BUT I WANT TO BE A SERVANT TO A LOT OF LEADERS.The last lesson is..If you are an ENGINEER, you are destined to become a good entrepreneur. So quit the corporateworld and be an entrepreneur. hahaha This is a nice interview Jerry – Ian ValezaIan Valeza recently posted..[]

  4. Excellent video! So how do you find the right words to say to a prospect without scaring them off? There are so many ways to talk to someone. Just wandering what words you use when speaking with someone after they have come to you. Carol

Imagine, you’re having a conversation with a prospect, you know a network marketing business would be good for them… but you’re not sure how to bring up the topic of Network Marketing.

Wouldn’t it be good to know some of the easiest ways to bring up Network Marketing during a conversation? Well, in this video, Mastermind Event presenter Tom “Big Al” Schreiter shares his most tried-and-tested first sentence.

And once again, because everyone on your team can use this first sentence, it duplicates.

Sometime during your conversation, simply share Tom’s first sentence. I think you’ll find, like we have, that it naturally steers the conversation towards the benefits of having a Network Marketing business.

And check this out…

I’m going to share a Special Report with you soon. In it you’ll find a simple story you can share after using Tom’s first sentence. It’s so simple in fact (and since it’s a story), you won’t even have to memorize it… you’ll just find yourself effortlessly sharing the story with your prospect. And since it’s a story, your prospect will be leaning forward, eager to hear what you have to say.

Make sure you are on our update list so you can get the Free Special Report the moment it becomes available!
