Mastermind Event Code of Conduct

Last updated: October 30, 2020

At Mastermind Event, we believe in raising the level of our profession by acting with honesty, integrity, inclusivity, and compassion. We want all attendees, speakers and employees to feel safe while attending Mastermind Event, so we expect all participants to follow this code of conduct to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone regardless of company affiliation, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), gender, gender identity and expression.

We do not tolerate harassment of any conference participant in any form. Racist or sexual language and imagery is not appropriate at any part of Mastermind Event, including during talks, breakouts, receptions, or online engagement.

Participants are also forbidden to prospect other participants or market their company's products/services. As a generic conference, we strive to provide a safe space for all Direct Sellers to learn, without the influence of any particular company.

Conference participants violating these rules will be expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to company affiliation, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity and expression; including, but not limited to, deliberate intimidation, stalking, disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of our conference staff immediately. Conference staff can be identified by their badges and will always be located at the staff/registration desk areas.

Our Mastermind Event staff will be happy to help participants contact the hotel security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference.

We value your attendance and help in creating a safe space for all participants.
